We appreciate the effort you've made to aquaint yourself with our  programs and services. Please feel free to make any suggestions and/or comments that may help us improve our services.

H.A.C.E. Int'l., is a bonafide 501 (c) 3 non-profit, non-governmental organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) of The United States of America with all the benefits therein. The organization was founded in September of 2002, by Dr. David A. Bull and some core Board members. In this new wave of natural and man-made disasters, it is extremely necessary that mankind develop survival strategies to help each other in times of need. It is in this spirit that H.A.C.E. International was established. We prefer to serve communities that are underserved, poor , disadvantaged, and vulnerable.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide humanitarian assistance, in the form of food security,  health care, education and training, and encouraging sustainable development ventures, leading to self- reliance, and a peaceful, livable community for all. This is our goal for all mankind, without regard to race, nationality, color, religion or creed.
This mission is reflected in our motto,"The Dry Bones of My People Shall Live Again." This verse is taken from the book of Ezekiel Chapter 37. The dry bones represent the sufferings of the people, especially the poor, the marginalized, the suppressed and oppressed, minority groups, the disabled, the sick and other vulnerable populations around the world. The hopes of most of these people are lost, horrible, and dead signified by the "dry bones". But by the power of Yahweh (God), who blessed mankind with his love and grace, these dry bones (sufferings) shall live again (be alleviated).

The cycle of war, intimidation, hunger, forced migration, poverty and diseases has affected millions of people in several continents during recent years. This poses one of the greatest challenges to mankind. Now is the time for a unified effort to fight against these global complex emergencies. Our programs are designed to provide a preventive as well as curative approach to issues. To achievbe such a goal, we encourage sustainable development projects/practices, partnerships, and  community involvement among beneficiaries.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Our guiding principles have a religious orientation as well as some social and cultural realities, and articulate values that are shared among people who seek to promote and work towards alleviating the sufferings of the poor and vulnerable. We seek true justice, equality and lasting global peace.
Our guiding principle provides the basis for all decisions relating to management, investments, and programs as we strive to respond to our mission and the needs of our brethren. The present global complex emergencies and challenges taking place throughout the world gives special urgency to the call for global action. We recognize our special responsibilities to use our resources and talents to encourage active solidarity on behalf of one human family and to promote livable and just societies in the world. We therefore espouse these principles and hold ourselves accountable to each other for them.

* The work of Humanitarian Aid in Complex Emergencies Int'l. is founded on the belief that all emergencies, be it loud or silent, individual or national are complex. The complexity however, depends on the nature of the emergency, economic status, technological know-how and the availability of resources to contain that emergency.

*  We believe that each person possesses a basic right and dignity that comes from God, the creator and because of this belief, we foster the intrtinsic value and equality of all mankind and strive for procedures and systems that demonstrate fair and equal treatment of all people.

*  We are an integral part of a wider global family and hold ourselves to our responsibilities to one another across national, socio-cultural and religious boundaries. Our work worldwide will be a typical representation of the interdependence of all people living together as we seek to fulfill our responsibilities to our brothers and sisters.

*  The poor and marginalized, including other vulnerable societies have our most urgent attention as their vulnerability  and oppression hurts us all. We seek to work alongside sufferings communities, nations, and individuals in solidarity, sharing our resources, talents with them and analyzing and addressing the causes of those systems that continues to impoverish them.

*  In communities and nations where we serve, we honour the autonomy of local communities, encourage individual family and other initiatives and realities, which allow people to direct their own developmental process. We will enter into parnerships with any organization to strive to provide assistance to any unmet needs.

* We believe in the strength of partnership, for the simple fact that, "When the strong comes to the weak, the weak too becomes strong."
